Adrian Oyler wins Defensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Spalding University men’s soccer senior Adrian Oyler has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. On Wednesday against Webster University, Oyler tallied an assist leading to a 1-1 draw. He also helped the Golden Eagles to a 1-0 shutout victory over Westminster. It is the first SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week award of the year for Oyler and the second for men’s soccer. The Golden Eagles return to action Thursday, October 19th at 2 p.m. at Blackburn College for a SLIAC conference matchup.
