Duchesne softball player Lyla Pearson voted SBLive’s Nebraska high school athlete of the week

Duchesne softball player Lyla Pearson was voted SBLive’s Nebraska High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 2-8. Pearson totaled 2,166 votes (54.11%). Pierce volleyball player Skylar Scholting was second with 1,374 votes (34.32%). Pearson had 24 runs driven in and pushed 11 of those across the plate in the last five games.
