Gill, Curney Earn Big South Weekly Honors

FARMVILLE, Va. – Julia Gill and Peyton Curney made magic happen at the top of the Longwood women’s soccer formation last week, and the duo were named Big South Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week respectively by the conference on Monday. Gill earned her first weekly honor this season on the strength of her three-point performance in the team’s lone match against USC Upstate.
