MXC: Jones earns Rookie of the Week honors

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Freshman Carson Jones (Lebanon, N.H.) picked up Little East Conference (LEC) weekly recognition after his role in helping the Plymouth State University men’s cross country team to a sixth place showing at the Suffolk Invitational on Saturday. Jones was selected as LEC Men’s Cross Country Rookie Runner of the Week after completing the 8k course in 27:28.60. Jones posted a career-best time by 30 seconds to finish 61st overall at the race that featured several top regional teams, as well as NCAA Division I and II programs.
