The W junior women’s golfer Olivia Derbyshire (Ocean Springs, Miss.) is this week’s Owl of the Week, after finishing 12th at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Women’s Golf Championships in Metamora, Ill., earning All-SLIAC second-team status. She is the first-ever MUW athlete to earn post-season recognition in the program’s new NCAA Division III and SLIAC affiliation. Derbyshire, climbed seven spots in the standings to 12th after her second round and maintained that position after Tuesday’s final 18 holes. Derbyshire’s cards read 81-79-80=240.
