Winkleman Named Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week
Flushing, N.Y.- Junior, Tessa Winkleman was named women’s volleyball player of the week for the City of New York Athletic Conference, her second honor this season. In a 2-1 week for the Hawks, Tessa Winkleman, a junior outside hitter, produced 50 kills and 25 digs. In a thrilling five-set victory at Baruch, Winkleman hit .333 with a match-high 17 kills. In a non-conference loss against Stockton, she produced a double-double of 14 kills and 11 digs. Closing out the slate against Mount Saint Mary, Winkleman hit a whopping .447 with a match-best 19 kills and seven digs.
