Zarracan and Westbrook Named Newberry Players of the Week

NEWBERRY – This week’s Newberry College Players of the Week are sophomore forward Emma Westbrook (Dover, Del.) and senior forward Uriel Zarracan (Bluffton). Westbrook, last week’s SAC and national offensive player of the week, picked up where she left off by scoring a hat-trick in the #9 Wolves’ 6-0 victory at home Saturday over Lincoln Memorial. Westbrook leads the nation in goals per game at 1.54 with a school record 20 goals in 13 matches, leading Newberry to a 12-1 record. It was her fourth hat-trick of the year and second straight.
