Bobrowski Named United East Defensive Player of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – Sophomore Julia Bobrowski (California, Md./Leonardtown) selected as the United East Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week as announced by conference office Monday afternoon (Oct. 16). The St. Mary’s College of Maryland volleyball (9-13, 1-2 UEC) posted a 2-1 week behind Bobrowski’s strong defensive play and her offensive contributions. Bobrowski started the week with nine digs, seven kills, two aces, and two solo blocks in a tough four-set road loss to Stevenson University (Oct. 12).
