Grinnell finishes fall portion of season on resounding note at Golfweek event

SANDESTIN, Fla. – The Grinnell College women’s golf team finished the fall portion of its 2023-24 season on a resounding note, matching its Day 1 total with a 306 Tuesday at the 2023 Golfweek October Classic. That effort gave Grinnell a three-day total of 924, placing 12th in the 24-team event featuring several of the nation’s top squads. Meilin Hoshino ’27 carded a 2-over-par 74 on the final day of the event at Baytowne Golf Club, with that total including a birdie.
