7. Mike Bossy, Bryan Trottier and Clark Gillies

The New York Islanders captured four straight Stanley Cup titles with Bossy, Trottier and Gillies and they combined to bring home one Hart Memorial Trophy, two Conn Smythe Trophies and one Art Ross Trophy.

New York had made the playoffs for four straight years before winning its titles but made early exits. The trio, which came to be known as “The Trio Grande,” helped build the Islanders dynasty and all three entered the Hockey Hall of Fame following their careers.
