2 Georgetown County football games moved to Oct. 19 due to inclement weather in forecast

GEORGETOWN COUNTY — Two of the four varsity football games involving Georgetown County teams this week have been moved to Thursday night due to possible inclement weather. Head coaches confirmed that Georgetown will now play at Aynor at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 and Waccamaw will travel to No. 3 Dillon on Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Andrews will still host Lee Central on Oct. 20 and Carvers Bay is still scheduled to travel to East Clarendon on Oct. 20, according Andrews head coach Scott Durham and Carvers Bay head coach Matthew Richard, respectively.
