Champlin Park boys soccer defeats Pirates in section semifinal

Champlin Park boys soccered earned a statement win on Oct. 12, defeating Park Center 5-1 in the Section 5AA semifinals to earn a spot in the section final, one game away from the state tournament. The game opened with 10 minutes of madness as the Rebels shocked Park Center with four goals from the eighth to the 18th minute. It began with a low cross from Kefema Sanoe, which found the feet of Lester Arthur. His shot, scuffed by the rain-soaked ground, found its way into the far corner to mark four goals in two games for the forward.
