CUI’s Maki Named PCSC Freshman Swimmer of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. – First-year swimmer Rachel Maki is already proving to be a major part of her team’s success in the pool. Maki was named the PCSC Female Freshman Swimmer of the Week after helping Concordia put on a great showing at last weekend’s Rodionoff Invitational up in Malibu. Maki won the open 1000 freestyle on Friday in a blistering time of 10:41:40, which was strong enough to be the top time in the PCSC by nearly 20 seconds!
