Mounties Come Up Short Against Bloomsburg

MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers Women’s soccer team (3-9-2, 2-8-2 PSAC East) was defeated by the Bloomsburg University Huskies (6-4-4, 6-3-3 PSAC East) by a final score of 2-0 on Wednesday night at Karl Van Norman Field. Just three minutes into the game Bloomsburg’s first chance rattled the crossbar and was cleared away by Mansfield goalkeeper Samantha Merklin.
