Tonka boys edge Edina for Section soccer title

Minnetonka High’s boys soccer team beat Edina 1-0 in the Section 2AAA championship game Oct. 17 at Prior Lake’s Dan Patch Stadium, thus earning its first trip to state since 2018. “The trip to state has been four years in the making,” Minnetonka’s captain and All-State senior forward Jake Hennen said after the match. “Obviously, it feels great. Our team is a brotherhood, a family.”
