Women’s Soccer Wins First Conference Game with a Clean Sheet

HOW IT HAPPENED Nebraska Wesleyan put down a clean sheet against Buena Vista University, winning 3-0 on home turf. Both teams remained scoreless for a majority of the first period. Freshman Averie Hike put an end to the drought and scored the first goal in the forty-second minute with the help of Kaeding Rassfeld. In the fifty-fifth minute, Aniaya Reed and Amanda Olivas each recorded a goal off of an assist from the other.
