Women’s Volleyball Fall in Five-Set Thriller to Christopher Newport

The Virginia Wesleyan University women’s volleyball team (22-4, 10-0 ODAC) dropped a 3-2 game against CNU, 23-25, 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, and 10-15. The first set was tightly contested, with CNU holding a 5-3 lead and extending that lead to 8-4 with a 3-1 run, but the Marlins fought back with a 9-1 run to lead 13-9.
