Fort Hays State Cross Country is gearing up for the MIAA Championships on October 20, 2023. The women’s six-kilometer race will kick off at noon, followed by the men’s eight-kilometer competition at 12:45 PM. The team is excited to showcase their talent, with experienced runners like Amelia Foster and newcomers like Madison Sutterfield. Last year, the women placed fifth at the conference meet, while the men finished 10th. The Tigers have a history of success in the MIAA, including a men’s title in 2012 and a women’s second-place finish in 2017. After the championships, the team will shift their focus to the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships on November 4.
