KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Oct. 19, 2023) – The USMMA women’s volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 3-0 victory over Skyline foe Mount St. Mary on Thursday night, 25-22, 25-12, 27-25. The win was the Mariners’ eighth straight and improved their record to 12-7 (8-1 Skyline), while the Knights fell to 3-18 (3-3 Skyline) in defeat. Prior to first serve, the Merchant Marine women’s volleyball program paid tribute to its three graduating seniors – Brittany Breland (Bryan Texas), Meredith Buchanan (Kathleen, Ga.) and Amy Jones (Roscoe, Ill.) – with a special Senior Night ceremony.
