Pair of Lions prep for Firehawk Invitational

FLORENCE, Ala. (October 19, 2023) – The men’s and women’s cross country regular seasons draw to a close this Friday at McFarland Park, as two University of North Alabama runners will compete at the Firehawk Invitational at McFarland Park in Florence. With the 2023 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship race in Nashville just over a week away, many of UNA’s top performers will miss the regular season finale in preparation for the conference meet, according to head coach Evans Kiptoo. Meanwhile, the duo of senior Talon Pritchard and sophomore Traci Pettus will run in the men’s 8K and women’s 6K, respectively.…
