Schiltz Blasts 11 Kills, Volleyballs Falls to Bridgeport

CALDWELL, N.J. — Senior middle blocker Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) had a team-best 11 kills and junior OH Mya Burnett (Newark, N.J.) contributed a season-best seven as Caldwell volleyball fell to CACC North leader Bridgeport (16-5, 9-1 CACC) in a league matchup at Newman Center, 3-0. Senior Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) had 26 kills, her second highest total of the season, and a team-best nine digs. Sophomore hitter Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) had seven digs and five kills for the Cougars (1-16, 1-10). Caldwell next hosts Chestnut Hill on Saturday at the Newman Center.
