Top-Seeded Stockton Too Much For Women’s Volleyball to Handle

GALLOWAY, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women’s volleyball squad battled top-seeded Stockton University tonight on the road and fell in straight sets, 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-13). Rutgers-Newark (9-11, 1-5) was led by Mia Espinoza’s four kills and Angelyse Orellana’s four assists. Defensively, Elvin Karakaya paced the team with eight digs. Stockton (16-8, 6-0) hit .390 as a team and picked up 10 kills from Camille De La Torre.
