Wesleyan Women’s Soccer Falls to Concord 2-1

The Bobcats dropped a home match to visiting Concord University 2-1, Wednesday at Culpepper Stadium Paloma Zamora riffled a blistering shot in the match’s first half to give the Bobcats an early 1-0 lead. A failed clearing by Concord’s midfield left the ball in the center of the pitch 20 yards from the net, and Zamora postage stamp planted it in the upper right corner.
