Bulldogs Open Home Campaign with Loss to Panthers

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women’s soccer team opened its season-ending three-game homestand on Friday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to Prairie View A&M in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match at the Bulldog Soccer Field. Alabama A&M (1-15 overall, 1-6 SWAC) had several opportunities in the first 30 minutes, but could not find the back of the net. Prairie View A&M (3-10, 3-4) broke the scoreless tie in the 39th minute as Kamara Bradley’s shot found the top left corner, beating AAMU goalkeeper Lilana Ribeiro as the Panthers grabbed the 1-0 lead.
