Declan and Teagan Vail, two brothers facing serious illness, have been welcomed into the Holy Cross men’s soccer program through the Team IMPACT organization. The program matches children with college athletic teams, providing them with a unique multiyear experience. Junior midfielder Liam Coffey has played a large role in coordinating activities and events for the Vail family, keeping them involved with the team on a regular basis. The Crusaders have been inspired by Declan’s strength and resilience, and they hope to inspire the boys to continue playing soccer. The team is currently focused on securing a playoff spot in the Patriot League, with a crucial game against Navy coming up.
