Lopers Fifth & Fifth at MIAA Championships

Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney cross country teams both finished fifth at the 2023 MIAA Championships Friday afternoon in Columbia, Mo. The meet was held at the University of Missouri’s Gans Creek C.C. with Lincoln University being the host schools. The women ran a 6k and the men an 8k with the top 20 finishers earning All-MIAA honors (1-10 first-team; 11-20 honorable mention). The 18th-ranked men tallied 109 points in an 11-team race with the regionally ranked women scoring 128 in a field of 13 schools (one didn’t finish).
