Ranking the top 10 Seattle Seahawks running backs of all time
10. Rashaad Penny, 2018-22
A first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Penny was thrust into a backfield that already had Chris Carson and Mike Davis taking most of the snaps. Still, Penny was able to prove his value, leading the league in average rush yards per attempt with 6.3 in 2021.
His career in Seattle was shortened due to a series of injuries, including an ACL injury in 2019 that lingered into 2020. Despite playing just 42 games with the team, Penny still ranks 11th in the franchise record books in rushing yards with 1,918. He also led the NFL in rushes of 25 or more yards in 2021 with eight despite playing in just 10 games.
Rashaad Penny breaks loose for a 58-yard TD on 1st-and-20. #Seahawks takes a 17-3 lead over Philly.
Career-high 128 rushing yards for Penny today.
