Women’s Soccer Rallies to Earn First-Ever Draw

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Allen University women’s soccer team earned their first draw in team history on Friday rallying from a goal down to tie crosstown rival Columbia College at 1 apiece. Allen received the tying goal from junior midfielder Tonie Sledz as her free kick sailed over the Koala keeper and into the back of the net in the 85th minute of action. Allen goes to 3-10-1 on the season while dropping Columbia to 8-5-1. The Lady Yellow Jackets will next head on the road to face Virginia State on Sunday afternoon for a 1:00 kick.
