Women’s Tennis Headed Back to NE10 Championship; Defeats Assumption, 4-0

Oceanside, N.Y. – The top-seeded Adelphi University women’s tennis team secured its berth to the NE10 Championship final Friday, following a victorious effort against No. 4 seed Assumption University in the semifinal round at Point Set Racquet Club. Playing to decision in the postseason, the Panthers (10-1) shut out the Greyhounds, 4-0, to advance to their second NE10 Championship final appearance in three years.
