14th-ranked Montclair State women edge Rutgers-Camden, 1-0

MONTCLAIR, N.J. (Oct. 21, 2023) – Throughout most of their New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday, the Rutgers University-Camden women’s soccer team frustrated one of the top teams in the country. In the 78th minute, however, 14th-ranked Montclair State University finally broke a scoreless deadlock and the Red Hawks went on to post a 1-0 victory over the Scarlet Raptors in NJAC action. Montclair State improves to 11-2-2 overall and 5-1-2 in conference play, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 8-7-1 and 4-4.
