Blackburn Split Double-Header versus Spalding and Webster University

The Blackburn Women’s Volleyball Team hosted a tri-match with SLIAC conference opponents, Spalding University and Webster Univeristy. The Beavers going 1-1 on the day. In the first match, Blackburn faced off against Spalding in the first game of the afternoon. Spalding came out hot winning the first two sets 25 to 13 and 25-21. They were led by Jada Branch who had 14 kills. The Beavers did not give up coming out hot in the third set crushing the Golden Eagles in a 25-9 win. The Beavers would battle hard in the fourth set but would fall 25-21, losing 3-1.…
