Faraj tallies goal on Senior Day

TIFFIN — On Senior Day, the Heidelberg University Men’s Soccer dropped its final home contest of the season. Unable to hold a 1-0 lead, HU fell to Marietta College, 4-1. Prior to the game, Heidelberg honored Thomas Abraham, Hussein Faraj, Tyler Amstutz, Trent Green, Timothy Zack, and Noah Sharrit for their contributions to ‘Berg Soccer. Fittingly, Faraj broke a scoreless tie in the 17th minute. He muscled his way between defenders and blistered a shot past the Marietta goalkeeper. The goal was his fourth of the season.
