Field hockey rolls past UMF in non-conference matchup
BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University field hockey team scored early and often in its 9-0 non-conference victory over the University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday. Husson (6-5) tallied two goals in the opening quarter to take a commanding 2-0 lead over the Beavers and never looked back. Senior Amanda Frost tipped in a shot from sophomore Maddie Perkins for the Eagles first score and Perkins rattled the cage for Husson’s second goal of the quarter.
