Mavericks Fall to No. 13 Huskies in St. Cloud
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Minnesota State (10-10, 5-7 NSIC) lost to the Huskies of St. Cloud State (16-6, 9-4 NSIC) in three sets Saturday afternoon, 3-0 at Halenbeck Hall. The Huskies had an outstanding hitting percentage of .418. St. Cloud State started the match by taking the first two sets 25-13 and 25-15. Minnesota State rebounded in the third set, but couldn’t pull off the comeback, falling 25-21. The Mavericks were led offensively by Sophie Tietz, who had nine kills.
