Men’s Cross Country Fourth at NSIC Championships

BISMARCK N.D. – Minnesota State men’s cross country placed fourth as a team at the 2023 NSIC Championships Saturday morning at McDowell Dam (UMary host). Augustana won the event (56) with three top six finishers, followed by Minnesota Duluth (60) and MSU-Moorhead. Tanner Maier was the Mavericks’ top scorer after he crossed the line third with a time of 24:34.70 on the 8K course on a cool, breezy day. Ryan Hartman won the race individually for Augustana with a winning time of 23:51.50. Maier came in just over four seconds behind Jared Gregoire (MSU-Moorhead) to earn First Team All-NSIC honors.…
