Men’s Soccer Drops NJAC Road Contest to Kean, 1-0

UNION, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark men’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to Kean University on Saturday afternoon in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play. Rutgers-Newark (5-8-4, 3-3-2) registered 19 shots in the loss with Erick Cortes leading the way with seven shots. Pedro Flores made three saves between the pipes for the Scarlet Raiders as Kean University (10-0-6, 5-0-3) tallied 13 shots.
