Pacers’ Conference Winning Streaks Ends at 18 Games
Arlington, Va. — Marywood University suffered its first Atlantic East Conference women’s soccer loss in 18 games on Saturday. The Pacers were shut out 2-0 by Marymount University. It is Marywood’s first Atlantic East loss since the 2019 season. Minnie Morris put the Saints ahead in the 53rd minute on a double-assisted play from Daniela Carillo-Torres and Laney Placido. Placido added an insurance goal in the 84th minute on a penalty kick chance. Both teams finished with 10 shots and five shots on goal. The Pacers (7-6-2, 3-1-1) edged the Saints 4-3 in corner kicks.
