Snopik Earns Second-Team All-League Honors At Great Midwest Championships

Ashland University sophomore Michael Snopik earned second-team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors at the 2023 league championships on Saturday (Oct. 21) at Malone. Snopik crossed the finish line in a personal-best 8K time of 25:51.6 to lead the Eagle men – well surpassing his 2022 showing of 61st in 27:00.7. He becomes the first men’s Eagle runner to earn All-Great Midwest recognition. NOTABLES Ashland’s men took eighth place in the 13-team 8K with 190 team points.
