Triad, who landed in the southern portion of Class 5A, earned the thirteenth seed in their 16 team pool. That ranking earned the 6-3 Knights a matchup with fourth-ranked and 7-2 Mahomet-Seymour. Mahomet-Seymour, which is located ten miles northwest of Champaign, will host that contest.
