Volleyball Falls Twice On L.A. Trip

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — The Cal State Monterey bay volleyball team played through a tough weekend in Southern California, a close match to nationally-ranked Cal State L.A. in four Friday before being swept by Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday afternoon in Carson. No. 23 Cal State L.A. rallied after dropping the first set to defeat CSUMB 22–25, 25–13, 25–21, 25–22. Dominugez Hills pulled away late in all three sets to win 25–22, 25–19, 25–18.
