Women’s soccer earns a key 1-0 victory at home against North Park

Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton women’s soccer team hosted North Park on Saturday night for “Senior Night” at Joe Bean Stadium. Wheaton scored the match’s lone goal in the closing minutes to earn a 1-0 victory against the Vikings. The victory improves Wheaton to 5-6-4 overall and 4-1-1 in CCIW play. The Thunder win earns Wheaton a first-round bye in the upcoming CCIW Tournament that begins on October 28.
