Women’s soccer earns home draw with Carroll

ROCK ISLAND — In a battle of teams tied in the upper half of the CCIW standings, the Augustana Vikings women’s soccer team collected a 0-0 draw with the visiting Carroll Pioneers on Saturday at Thorson-Lucken Field. The Augie defense was busy in this one, wrapping up an opening half with an 11-0 deficit in the shots category. The Pioneers saw just three of their 11 attempts on target, all of which were saved by Janey Castoe.
