Women’s Tennis Falls in PAC Championship vs. Second-Seeded Grove City

ERIE, Pa. — Another outstanding fall season for Allegheny College women’s tennis team came to an unfortunate end on Saturday. Second-seeded Grove City College defeated the top-seeded Gators in the 2023 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament finals by a 5-2 score in front of a hearty crowd at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, Pennsylvania. The loss ended a remarkable run for Allegheny against PAC opposition. Last year’s conference champions, the Gators (10-2) went two consecutive fall seasons without losing to a PAC opponent in the regular season and reached the tournament finals in back-to-back years.
