WOU football falls to Midwestern State at home
MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Western Oregon football team fell to Midwestern State 33-6 Saturday afternoon at McArthur Field. The Wolves (3-5 overall, 2-3 LSC) trailed 16-0 at the half before getting a shot of momentum thanks to an Austin Bacher 69-yard touchdown run down the left side to cut the Mustangs’ (3-4, 2-3) lead to 10. But MSU scored 17 unanswered points and WOU wouldn’t find the end zone again. WOU was outgained in the game 298-197 in total yardage in the contest.
