‘Cats post first win over Bemidji State since 2010 with 1-0 shutout at BSU

Sophomore midfielder Paige Pemberton’s shot deflected off a Bemidji State defender for a goal in the 54th minute to lead Wayne State College in a 1-0 Northern Sun Conference women’s soccer win at Bemidji State Sunday afternoon. It marks the first time since 2010 that the Wildcats beat the Beavers, ending a skid of 0-10-1 vs. BSU dating back to the 2010 win in Wayne, which was a 2-1 Wildcat victory.
