Denton, Grau Top Finishers For Women’s Cross Country at CACC Championships

PHILADELPHIA – Competing in their first CACC Championships, freshmen Skylar Denton (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Dayanara Grau (Union City, N.J.) were the top two Caldwell finishers, pacing Caldwell women’s cross country at the CACC Championships at Belmont Plateau. Denton placed 44th overall at 24:43.29, with Grau right behind her in 46th at 25:33.56. Senior Dagnelly Sarmiento (Weehawken, N.J.) was the third scorer for Caldwell in 49th at 26:52.53. Next for Caldwell were Soph Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.; 53rd, 29:22.73) and soph Michelle Martignoni Mercado (Fair Lawn, N.J.; 62nd, 33:10.93.
