Hawks Compete in Medgar Evers Invitational

New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College men’s cross country team competed at Medgar Evers Invitational this weekend at Van Cortlandt Park. The Hawks’ top finisher for the day was freshman Sebastian Arteaga who finished in 21st of 58 runners with a time of 37:41.7 in the men’s 8k race. Brian Guillermo was the next finisher for Hunter coming in 26th with a time of 39:32.6. Five additional runners from Hunter raced, led by Henry Kurzawa who finished in 42:51.9, followed immediately by Mohamed Shabain with at time of 43:04.2.
