Hiram Football celebrated their first win of the season with a dominant fourth quarter performance over Oberlin. The game started slowly with Hiram settling for field goals and Oberlin scoring only in the final minute of the first half. In the second half, Hiram’s offense came alive, scoring on both trips to the red zone and making a explosive 38-yard touchdown connection. Quarterback Sean Tejeda had a standout game, accounting for three touchdowns, while receiver Raequan Davis-Hereford recorded his first receiving touchdown of the season. Hiram’s defense also played a crucial role, limiting Oberlin’s scoring opportunities. The team looks forward to a road game against The College of Wooster next week.
