Women’s Volleyball: Hawks Fall in Five Sets Homecoming Weekend

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women’s volleyball team fell to Wentworth, 3-2 (23-25, 25-22, 25-15, 20-15, 15-8) on Saturday in the Campus Rec Center during Homecoming and Family Weekend. The Leopards had nine aces to the Hawks three, with Wentworth winning the kills battle 60-51. The Hawks led with 92 digs on the match, with the Leopards earning 78. Kaylee Jackson (Naugatuck, Conn.) led with 14 kills for the Hawks and was followed by Brianna Picchietti (Batavia, Ill.) with 13. Jillian Smith (New Milford, Conn.) also tallied nine kills.
