Birdsong, Huiskers repeat as MWC weekly winners

MOUNT VERNON – For the second consecutive week, Cornell junior wideout Trey Birdsong (football, special teams) and sophomore goalkeeper Floris Huiskers have been selected Midwest Conference Performers of the Week in their respective sports for the period of Oct. 16-22. Both Rams were recognized with MWC weekly honors for the third time this season. Birdsong delivered another electric all-around performance in Saturday’s 47-34 victory over Chicago.
